I finished reading "Deadly deception" two days ago. The ending was totally different from my expectations. Of course, I WON'T TELL YOU THE ENDING, but if you are looking for a suspense read that may even force you to stay up all night to read it through, this is THE BOOK for you. An unputdownable mystery through and through.
There are just two other pieces of vocab I wish to share with you:
umpteen (determiner, pronoun)/ umpteenth (determiner)-informal- a lot of-For the umpteenth time, Anthony, knives and forks go in the middle drawer!
mousy- a person with plain brown hair or a shy or nervous person-A mousy-looking woman accompanied him, his wife I assumed.
